The Sunbeams and the Brave Little Shades
Once upon a time, in a bright and bustling kingdom called Lumina Land, the sun shone a little extra brightly. Not in a scary way—more like a golden spotlight that made every flower glitter and every rainbow sparkle just a little longer.
In this kingdom lived a cheerful group of friends: Lia the Explorer, Tommy the Tinkerer, and Mila the Mini-Magician. They loved playing outside from sunrise to sunset—climbing Sunshine Trees, chasing Glow-Bugs, and racing down Rainbow Hills.
But they all had one problem…
The Sunbeams were mischievous little creatures. They weren’t mean—they just loved dancing around children, tickling their noses, and shimmering across their eyes.
One bright morning, Lia blinked and said,
“Oh! Those Sunbeams keep getting in my eyes! I can’t see where I’m exploring!”
Tommy squinted hard.
“Me too! They keep bouncing off my inventions—it’s like they’re trying to blind me!”
Mila tried casting a shade spell, but the Sunbeams just giggled and twirled around her.
“Even magic won’t hold them off,” she sighed.
Just then, an old, wise owl named Sir Hootsworth swooped down from the Sky Oak.
“Children,” he hooted warmly, “the Sunbeams mean no harm—but your eyes are young and precious. They need a shield… a magical one.”
From under his wing, he pulled out a shimmering chest.
Inside were three pairs of Brave Little Shades.
They sparkled with stardust and moonlight, specially made for young eyes.
“Wear these,” said Sir Hootsworth, “and your eyes will be safe from the Sunbeams’ brightest dances. They protect your vision, keep your eyes comfortable, and help you see the wonders of Lumina Land clearly—now and when you’re all grown up.”
The children carefully put them on…
And something amazing happened.
The Sunbeams still danced, but now they twirled around the children instead of into their eyes. The world looked clearer, brighter, and softer all at once.
Lia could explore farther.
Tommy could invent faster.
Mila could cast spells without squinting.
From that day forward, the children of Lumina Land never went outside without their Brave Little Shades.
And the Sunbeams?
They still danced—but now they danced together with the children, happily and safely ever after.
And that’s why every child, no matter where they live, should wear their sunglasses—because even the friendliest Sunbeams shine a little too brightly sometimes.
